About Me:: I moved to Oceanside, California from Washington, D.C. on October 26, 2002. My life has seen a lot of changes since then, mostly for the better. But I'm finally starting to have a semblance of normalcy. I own my own place, I have an awesome job, and I'm finally starting to get used to the California mentality - VERY different from D.C!!

I work at Outreach, Inc., in Vista, California. One of my projects is the Faith in Action campaign. I've met a lot of very cool people through this campaign, and it's been very exciting to see how eager people are to get out and serve, especially in the name of Jesus...and in honor of Him.

Outside of work, I spend most of my time at church. I'm in the worship band, I lead children's worship when I'm not on stage in the sanctuary, I'm on the prayer team...and I'm engaged to a pastor at my church, so I'm also his unofficial assistant. In addition, I'm going through our internship training program, which requires reading 13 books (complete with book reports) and the entire Bible in a year, as well as biweekly classes and accompanying seminars and projects. It keeps me busy, but I also work out six days a week (I have to get up at 4:00 a.m. to do it all) and I also have a pit bull puppy that requires (or maybe a better word would be "demands") a lot of attention. So that's all about me in a nutshell.
